in my spare time, I like to prototype concepts using game engines in combination with MICRO CONTROLLERS like arduino. i’m especially interested in ideas that combine digital gameplay with physical elements. here’s a small sample of these prototypes.

Say It Or Spray It! is an arcade trivia game attached to an Arduino-powered spray bottle via bluetooth. The player has 60 seconds to answer as many trivia questions as possible; if they get a question wrong, they’re sprayed in the face with water.

Firehouse is an interactive attraction that I made for my son, who is obsessed with firefighters. The guest takes on the role of a firefighter and watches the “Fireboard” on the AppleTV to see where in the house a fire has broken out, then runs to the room to “put out” the flame by pointing their hose at it. SHOWRUNNER is a combination iPhone App / Arduino project that I created to run the sound and lights for stage shows from my phone via bluetooth. (Tap on the image to learn more!)
